About qSOFA:
qSOFA (Quick Sequential Organ Failure Assessment) is a quick screening tool used to suspect sepsis in patients. However, it is not a definitive tool for detection or confirmation. qSOFA has good specificity but lower sensitivity, which improves when combined with lactate levels.
